It says "First Baptist Church" above the door, but "Whitt Baptist Church" on a sign just down the road. The church is on Rock Church Rd, just a bit northeast of FM 52, near the center of Whitt, TX.

Whitt is a quiet rural community, with a post office, a Masonic lodge, the historic Whitt Cemetery, and the old, historic Whitt Seminary building, itself within sight of the Baptist church, with a few homes nearby. There might be twenty to thirty people here. The old school is still standing, but it has long fallen into disuse and disrepair. An Internet search doesn't really turn up much of anything, and while the sign near the church indicates that Sunday services are at 11 AM, the building looks like it could use some maintenance, although the grounds are well-kept.
