A pronze plaque set in local granite by an oak tree planted to commemorate 50 years since the donation of Bradgate Park to the City and County of Leicester by Charles Bennion in 1928.

The plaque reads:
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the
donation of Bradgate Park to the City and
County of Leicester by Mr Charles Bennion in 1928.
This English Oak was planted by the
donor's grandson Mr C George Bennion, and
Colonel R. A. St.G. Martin. O.B.E., J.P.,
Chairman of the Bradgate Park Managing Committee
on 28th December, 1978
