Autrefois, la route D900b suivait au plus près le relief et quand un pont était construit, il était le plus court possible en raison des coûts de constructions.
Ce pont, dans un recoin, étroit ne correspondait plus aux besoins de la circulation vers Barcelonnette. Un nouveau a été construit, plus long, dans la continuité de la route, au dessus du ravin de la Tour.

In the past, the D900b road followed the terrain as closely as possible and when a bridge was built, it was as short as possible because of the construction costs.
This bridge, in a narrow corner, no longer corresponded to the needs of the traffic towards Barcelonnette. A new one was built, longer, in the continuity of the road, above the ravine of the Tour.
