Most je na svém míste od roku 1948 a je ve zdvojené konfiguraci. Most dodala organizace UNRRA(United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration) zabývající se poválecnou pomocí. Dnes už se jedná o unikátní technickou památku jelikož v republice již je jen asi desítka podobných mostu.
Konfigurace mostu je D-S (dvojradý-jednoposchodový)
Tento typ montované mostní konstrukce se za války vyrábel ve Velké Británii a ve válecné Evrope pomerne úspešne plnil svou roli - znovu a rychle nahrazoval mosty, na které dopadly bomby. Jednotlivé segmenty z válcované oceli nejsou težší než 260 kilogramu a spojují se pomocí cepu, což zarucuje pomerne rychlou a spolehlivou montáž. „Jeho konstrukci je možno považovat za výjimecnou. I v soucasnosti z tohoto konstrukcního systému vycházejí moderní rozebíratelné mostní konstrukce,“ takové je vyjádrení odborníka na ženijní techniku Pavla Manase z brnenské Univerzity obrany.

The bridge has been in place since 1948 and is in a double configuration. The bridge was supplied by the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration (UNRRA) for post-war aid. Today it is a unique technical monument, as there are only about ten similar bridges in the Czech Republic.
Bridge configuration is D-S (two-row single-level)
This type of pre-assembled bridge construction was produced in the UK during the second war, and used in the war Europe it performed quite successfully - it made it possible to quickly replaced the bridges that the bombs hit. Individual segments of rolled steel are not more than 260 kilograms weight and are joined by means of a pin, which ensures relatively fast and reliable assembly. "Its construction can be considered exceptional. This modern design system is based on modern detachable bridge structures, "said Pavel Manas, a technician at the Brno University of Defense.
