Wärschtlamo Denkmal in Hof

Am Hofer Sonnenplatz existiert ein Denkmal vom beinahe sagenumwobenen 'Wärschtlamo'. Der Wärschtlamo ist ein einmaliges Kuriosum in der gesamten Bundesrepublik. Ein Beruf, der in unserer Stadt lange Tradition hat – und den es eben nur in Hof gibt. In manchen Familien vererbte sich die Ausübung dieses Berufes von Jahrzehnt zu Jahrzehnt.
Wärschtlamo
The Wärschtlamo is a unique curiosity throughout the Federal Republic of Germany and beyond. A profession that has a long tradition in our city - and which only exists in Hof. In some families, the practice of this profession passed from decade to decade.
There is a very unique monument esteblished since a long time in honour of that persons.
