Remembering Sky Park Airport - Scotts Valley, California - Murals on Waymarking.com

This mural is on the outside north wall of Scotts Valley Library. It is 26 feet tall and almost 100 feet long. After the initial layers were painted, volunteers were asked to paint the drawn renderings using specific colors. In this manner, even untrained people could contribute to the mural. As of 2013 there are several part of the drawings that have yet to be completed. The "Mural in a Day" project was held for two days to get as much done as possible. The mural cost was about $10,000.
