They advertise themselves as "Grayson County's Oldest Newspaper", but there isn't much history to be found. The Handbook of Texas Online notes Whitesboro's 1873 establishment, founded by Captain Ambrose White, and there is a reference to their being a newspaper here by the end of the 1870s. Whether it was this one is not clear, but a look at some of the publicly available content on the Newspaper Archive yields volume numbers on the newspaper masthead. Assuming that they've been publishing every year, they date to at least 1885, and while there is a link to an 1887 edition, the content displayed is actually from 1943.

A photograph that depicts your presence at the building is necessary. This can be a picture of your GPSr in the foreground in only one of your many pictures, or if you're not too camera shy, put you or a team member in the picture. Maybe even buy a newspaper while they're still in business. They need all the help they can get. No picture, no new log. And no icon.
