Ici vécut Pierre Émond (1738-1808), maître menuisier et sculpteur de talent dont plusieurs oeuvres subsistent, notamment au Séminaire de Québec et à l’Hôpital Général. Il aurait construit cette maison qu’il habita de 1764 jusqu’à sa mort.

Here lived Pierre Émond (1738-1808), master carpenter and talented sculptor whose several works remain, including the Séminaire de Québec and the General Hospital. He would have built this house that he lived in from 1764 until his death.
