[EN] "The Bavarian railway station was built between 1841 and 1844 and until its closure in 2011 was considered the world's oldest terminal station.
During the Second World War, the covered passenger hall, the station concourse and the administration building were largely destroyed and subsequently not rebuilt.
Today, the Bavarian railway station houses a restaurant with its own brewery. Among other things, the traditional Leipzig Gose is brewed and served here. Beneath the Bavarian Railway Station is an S-Bahn stop of the City Tunnel, inaugurated in 2013."
