The original bridge over Lee Creek in Devil's Den State Park was constructed by they Civilian Conservation Corp. The bridge was destroyed by a flash flood in May 1960. The original south approach and one of the abutments is all that remains, along with a weathered sign which states:

BRIDGING LEE CREEK
The bridge that stood at this location was one of the most substantial structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps at Devil's Den. The "vehicular bridge" as it was called, was complete in August of 1935. On May 5, 1960, it was destroyed by a flash flood.
A replacement bridge was constructed that same year (1960) and is waymarked as WMXPQK.
