The Figurative Sculpture of the early road builders on the Blue Mountains in Lilianfels Park, near Echo Point, has several plaques announcing the work of the local Rotary Club of Katoomba.

There is a good description of the Sculptures of the road builders, at the Waymark: WM3T96

One of the plaques reads:

These Sandstone blocks
were laid by the Road Builders
1830 - 1840 as part of the
original Bathurst Road.
Their hardwork and endurance
will live on in these stones.
Rotary Club of Katoomba 2010

A nearby tall slab of sandstone has a large bronze plaque, also placed by the Rotary Club of Katoomba, that lists the Descendants, Ancestors, Ships, and Arrival years, relating to various Rotary Club members lineage.
