Riverview Cemetery is at the junction of Lincoln Way and W. Summit Avenue NW of downtown.

Riverview Cemetery is located in Kootenai County, Idaho. The Coeur d’Alene area is surrounded by dozens of lakes left behind by the glaciers from the ice age. There are more than 55 lakes within easy driving distance. Coeur d’Alene is the county seat of Kootenai County, the city has a population of approximately 45,000 residents.

There are ten cemeteries in Coeur d’Arlene, this one being one of the largest.

Riverview Cemetery is perpetual care, and approximately 8 acres in size with towering pine trees and is well maintained. There is a large veterans section with mostly flat grave markers. In this same area there are several cremains niche walls. There are 2,982 known interments and was established in 1968 with one of the earliest being:

Marie Y. “Mimi” King who was born on February 14, 1967 and passed away December 18, 1968 she was just an infant.
