Two markers identify the grave of Chief Warrant Officer Frank L. Marsh. A granite headstone is inscribed:

Frank L. Marsh was 26 years old at the start of the Spanish-American War in April 1898. As a chief warrant officer Frank L. Marsh was first a non-commissioned officer and then chosen to receive additional required education and attend officer training school so they can become commissioned officers. The U.S. Navy has a special program where exceptional chief petty officers can receive a presidential commission and a promotion to chief warrant officer.

Frank L. Marsh subsequently was alive to witness World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War before dying at age 100.
