Kidd-Key Auditorium has been a part of the Sherman community since the late 1930s, when it began as a stage for Kidd-Key Women’s College. The college closed in 1935 and a few years later, the City of Sherman purchased the current property.
In 1938, it was designated as a municipal auditorium. Over 75 years later, it continues to be a beacon of cultural and performing arts in Sherman. The auditorium stage has seen acts like the Oak Ridge Boys, ZZ Top, Michael Martin Murphy, Ernie Hasse and Signature Sound and The Rankin Brothers, who have been voted Branson Missouri's best performing act for the last four years.
