Lake Tahoe is mostly in California, however on the southern side, you'll find that the border between California and Nevada has a 120º bend which goes all the way to the Colorado River when it meets with Arizona.

The lake is quite large, so seeing the actual tripping from land may be hard. However, on clear days such as this one in April 2010 when my photos were taken, you may be able to look out from land on the south side of the lake and see the actual bend.
