These frieze art panels can be found on the front elevation of Tynwald (Legislative Building) on Prospect Hill in Douglas.
The frieze art panels above the red banded brick lower floors of the building have foliate decoration and those below the parapet feature a Fleur-de-lis design.
The architect of the building was James Cowle and construction of the building ran from 1891 to 1894. The first sitting of the Tynwald court in the building was on 20th December 1894.
The building also features other relief art below both oriels and has intricate detail in the door case with its acanthus leaf scolled brackets and amorial stone - Ship of State.
