La maison Joseph-Trefflé-Caya (209 rue Brock) est une résidence bourgeoise s'inscrivant dans le courant de l'éclectisme victorien construite entre 1878 et 1884. La demeure se compose d'un corps de logis en brique de plan rectangulaire, à un étage et demi. Elle est coiffée d'un toit à deux versants retroussés. Un pignon central et deux lucarnes à pignon articulent la toiture. Une grande galerie curviligne, ornée de boiseries décoratives, se déploie sur toute la façade avant. Trois volumes annexes, l'un pourvu d'un toit à deux versants et les deux autres d'un toit plat, sont greffés à l'arrière du bâtiment. Le terrain de la résidence compte également une écurie dont la facture s'apparente à celle du bâtiment principal avec son pignon central flanqué de lucarnes. La maison Joseph-Trefflé-Caya est située sur un vaste terrain formant un promontoire naturel, dans le centre-ville de Drummondville.

209 Brock - a Quéec Heritage Property
The Joseph-Trefflé-Caya House is a bourgeois residence, part of the Victorian eclecticism built between 1878 and 1884. The house consists of a rectangular brick building, with a floor and a half. She is wearing a roof with two slopes turned up. A central pinion and two gable dormers articulate the roof. A large curvilinear gallery, decorated with decorative woodwork, unfolds throughout the front facade. Three annexes, one with a gable roof and the other two with a flat roof, are grafted to the rear of the building. The grounds of the residence also include a stable whose bill is similar to that of the main building with its central gable flanked by dormers. The Joseph-Trefflé-Caya House is located on a vast lot forming a natural promontory, in downtown Drummondville.
