There are no great views from this Trig Point, as it has become mightily OVERGROWN! While what had been white paint over the textured concrete pedestal is now camouflaged with moss/lichen, it is in otherwise good condition, with the plastic post, and perforated, black, semi-circular vanes attached to the pedestal. There is also the name plate on the pedestal, which reads:
"CENTRAL MAPPING AUTHORITY
GEODETIC STATION
NOONAN"
Depending on your mapping, there may be shown a track coming up from the west, from Point Plomer Road. This does NOT appear to exist in reality! There is nowhere to park at that point, so park a little further west, where the road swings to the south then east. Park at the side of the road, at the Big Hill Trail gated entry, that heads to the west.
Not recommended for a 'casual walk', so be prepared with your navigational wits about you, and wear long trousers, long-sleeved shirt, and hat, for protection against the lantana and 'wait-a-while' vine that is prolific in this area.
