[EN] On the wall of the house on the corner Schillergasse / Abteistraße in Bendorf-Sayn is this mural for which I unfortunately could find no information board regarding titles and artists.
Pictured is an open lattice window. On the windowsill are apples, an egg, a collection of butterflies, a flower vase and a straw hat. In the upper part of the window, a string is stretched across. On this string hangs the playing card Pick Sieben, a tea towel and a strift piece to dry. To the left of the window is a butterfly on the wall of the house.
Depending on the viewing angle, the painted open window looks deceptively real.
