This monument commemorate famous mayor of Pardubice. The obelisk was made in the year 1881 on cemetery in Pardubice. In this park stands since 1918.

The Monument of Vaclav Bubenik (famous mayor of Pardubice, founder of Sokol organisation in Pardubice) was built in the year 1881 and was the part of his tomb. In the year 1918 was relocated to this park. The monument was repaired in 1989.
