Situation
This Greenway is a towpath that follows the channel of the Somme ("Canal Sea St-Valery-sur-Somme Abbeville"). It goes from St-Valery-sur-Somme to Abbeville and is the first section of the V30 Véloroute linking the Bay of Somme to the Marne (in Condé-sur-Marne, a town located between Reims and Châlon-en-Champagne).
The course
The greenway begins at the beginning of Carnot Avenue, upstream of the turning bridge (the first bridge spanning the Somme), on the left bank of the Somme.
The greenway follows the towpath of the "canal du maritime canal from Abbeville to St-Valery-sur-Somme" (the channeled Somme ...), which is straight to the edge of Abbeville. 15 km
Technical characteristics
the Greenway has a smooth coating of width 3m.
The course is shady (under the poplars), quiet (few intersections) and pleasant.

Cette Voie Verte est un chemin de halage qui suit le canal de la Somme ("Canal Maritime de St-Valéry-sur-Somme à Abbeville"). Elle va de St-Valéry-sur-Somme à Abbeville et constitue la première section de la Véloroute V30 qui relie la Baie de Somme à la Marne (à Condé-sur-Marne, commune située entre Reims et Châlon-en-Champagne).
Le parcours
La voie verte commence au début de l'avenue Carnot, en amont du pont-tournant (le premier pont enjambant la Somme), sur la rive gauche de la Somme.
Le voie verte emprunte le chemin de halage du "Canal du canal maritime d'Abbeville à St-Valéry-sur-Somme" (la Somme canalisée...), qui est rectiligne jusqu'aux abords d'Abbeville. 15 km
Caractéristiques techniques
la Voie Verte possède un revêtement lisse de largeur 3m.
Le parcours est ombragé (sous les peupliers), tranquille (peu d’intersections) et agréable.
