Hotel Zlatá husa was built by Mateje Blechy (probably according to the project of E. Králícek) in 1910. The hotel was equipped with all its comfort for its time. In the courtyard of the hotel was seat of the newspaper Ceské slovo until 1913, and Hoyer's gymnasium school was known for many years in the interwar period.
