Long Description:
"As you enter the south porch you are faced by a pair of bronze doors. The doors were designed by Henry Wilson 1905 to illustrate the life of Our Lord in its relation with the Holy Mother to whom the church is dedicated. In the tympanum enclosed within a vesica the Holy Mother supports and cherishes the body of Christ, while in the spandrels, on either side, the gates of Life and Death are suggested. On each leaf of the door are five panels illustrating the life of Our Lord. The dedication over the door is:
In loving memory of Francis Morse, 1818-1886, Father, Pastor, Friend"
