This small stone marker is located very close to the Blacksnake Mountain hiking trail in Allegany State Park. It marks the boundary line between New York and Pennsylvania.
"174 M" is engraved on one face of the monument. "PA" and "NY" are engraved on opposing faces of the monument. The fourth face is blank.
