This cave was part of a large lava tube whose roof collapsed in several places, leaving behind natural bridges and a few caves, of which Crows Cave is one. There is also a cave that extends beneath the highway onto private property, but this cave is normally partially filled with water. At various times of the year, water will also be found in Crows Cave. If you wish to explore this short cave and don't wish to get your feet wet, it is best to use the entrance from the east. While visiting this site, you may also want to explore farther to the east to see the natural bridges. Crows Cave is loacted approx. 12 miles north of Bliss, ID on the Bliss/Hill City Highway. This is a paved highway and suitable for all vehicles.
