In Milton, along Centre Street, is the Milton Cemetery.
The cemetery west entrance is about a hundred feet east of the intersection with Randolph Avenue. The main street is further east, but it was closed at the time of visit.
The cemetery is a park-like property with graves mostly shaded with trees along gently rolling terrain. The cemetery has grown over the years. A small sign at the main entrance states the year 1672. The oldest graves are between this and the west entrance. Many of these have markers signifying that they are veterans of the American Revolutionary War. Generally, as you travel out from the old burial grounds the graves get more recent. The newest graves are generally on the eastern and southern end.
Findagrave.com has over 8200 grave entries.
