A nice example found on the memorial to 2nd Lt Thomas Penruddocke who fell at Battle of Lake Doiran Salonika in 1917 (
visit link) , although on the opposite wall is a smaller version on a memorial plaque listing Penruddocke family members as far back as 1598.
