This is an old white church with green trim and tall windows and a tiered steeple. There is a small cemetery immediately across the street. The congregation is small, but the church is still active. The name Cooperstown junction refers to a railroad junction that connects Cooperstown with "the Albany and Susquehanna Rail Road."

The stated purpose was to construct a railroad "from a point at or near the Village of Cooperstown to a point at or near Colliersville forming a junction with the Albany and Susquehanna Rail Road"."
