On the east side of Wewoka, at the intersection of E. 9th and Sunnymeade Drive is Mutt Miller Park. Set in a rolling countryside location, this park was designed and constructed by the WPA in 1939. It contains numerous rock structures like the bathhouse, picnic facilities and a small amphitheater.
A small, unnamed creek runs through the park from North to South which necessitated the construction of a bridge for visitors to cross from one side of the park to the other. The bridge is constructed of native sand stone, with rock approach walls and end pillars. A handrail is topped with concrete, and has a row of large vertical rocks supporting the top.
A second, less elaborate bridge crosses an area of consistent drainage. It is also rock with low concrete-topped sidewalls.
