Near Lewiston, by the walkway to the entrance to the Dickson Mounds Museum, is a sign for this museum that has a map of the ground and a marker to orient you.
The museum is located south of Lewiston, off Dickson Mounds Road and near the intersection with Route 9. From the road follow the access road to the parking lot.
The sign is a very blocky feature, with a rough cement finish. it has a large circular spider symbol on it. The map is on the upper right portion. The map shows the grounds and marks places by numbers. For each number, there is a short paragraph in a circular shape. The "You Are Here" text is above the map, impressed into the cement, and a circular shape to the right has "You are Here" and text. That text says:
"1
