St Leonard's is a Grade II* listed building.

Dating information from the britishlistedbuildings website:-
Parish church. C12 origins; mid-C15 alterations and additions; further alterations c1837; restored 1864-5 by Kirk and Parry.

One unusual aspect is that the large East window is plain and the West window has very attractive stained glass. A ring of 8 bells has been built up over the years with the oldest dating from medieval times and being recast in the 17th century.
