At the way from the parking area to Maria Laach Abbey you will come along a entrance to the park of the Seehotel. There is this shrine, made from one piece of balaltic stone located. The niche is protected by a wrought iron lattice. The grids of the lattice are very wide so it is not easy to see the details of the picture in it. The picture shows Mary with infant Jesus.
