There's quite a large area available for dog´s to 'run free' - located at the so-called 'Hasensteige' in the west part of Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Hundewiese 'Hasensteige'
On the outskirts of the west district of Ulm there is a meadow where dog owner meets almost every day. They can run their dogs free, which can then play with each other.
In the inner area of the city, on public roads and sidewalks and the densely built-up areas the mandatory use of dog leashes is obligatory in Ulm. But there are some areas in which the obligation to provide leashes is lifted. For example at the so-called 'Hasensteige' or the 'Hochsträß' a little bit further outside.
The place is listed on 'Dog’s Places', a platform which shows the best places for dogs in different categories. Parking directly at the meadow at N 48° 23.416 E 009° 57.153 - where also poop bags available.
