St. Joseph's Cemetery is located across the street from St. Joseph's Catholic Church, which served parishioners in Lillis for over a hundred years (1865-2011). The cemetery was established in 1866, and expanded in 1893. The grounds are well maintained, with mostly flat land except for trees on the East and South sides. A large circular drive allows for vehicular travel W-E thru the cemetery.
A flat marker notes the location of Elizabeth's final resting place after living in three different centuries. It is at the very far east side of the grounds, west of the drive.
