The series premiere of Murder in the First opens in front of Detective Hildy Mulligan's (Kathleen Robertson) house set in San Francisco. We can clearly see the house number is 1821. Hildy later takes her daughter piggyback-style, down the hill where they live, to the school bus stop at the intersection, where we can see the street sign of Alabama Street and Ripley Street.
I located this house and it looks just as in the series premiere episode.
