This bear chair is located at the Grandfather tree souvenir stand in Garberville, California. it is carved from a redwood tree trunk. Between the bear's legs is a wooden container labeled "Honny", which forms the base of the chair when one sits.
While sitting in the bear chair, Zippy notes says he's not afraid of the dark forest, because Griffy says supernatural creatures are just metaphors for something else and he doesn't think a metapor will eat him. The chair responds that an analogy can be a real bear!
