In Grafton, at a ramp to water level, is the terminal to the Grafton Ferry.
The ferry terminal is located near downtown Grafton, on the south side of Illinois Route 100 and off Market Street.
The road to the water breaks off to the right as you approach the water. The road curves at a sign about the ferry, and ends at a location where you wait for the ferry to arrive.
The ferry runs from Grafton, through two islands in the waterways and then to a location across the river, which is at Sherwood Harbor Road at a sparsely populated location.
