In the middle of a small conifer forest, you can see several formica nest close-by.
The information sign explains about the species, their social behaviour, their nests and it's network of colony nests around the main nest.
It's not necessary to leave the path to see the nests or the formica trails.

In der Mitte eines kleinen Nadelwaldes befinden sich eine Reihe von Ameisenhügeln.
Auf dem Informationsschild finden sich vielerlei Informationen über Waldameisen, ihr soziales Verhalten, ihre Ameisenhügel und die Ablegerkolonien in der Umgebung des Hauptnestes.
Es ist nicht notwendig, den Weg zu verlassen, um die Amasenhügel oder die Tiere zu beobachten.
