Beneath the four-bladed aircraft propeller is a cast bronze plaque, which reads:
[RAAF Crest] [City of Sale logo]
In honour of all who served
		  at
	 RAAF SALE
		 and
In recognition of the mutual bonds between
the RAAF and the Sale Community

City of Sale
Victoria 150th Anniversary Celebration	17 November 1984

Unfortunately nothing further could be found on internet searching. The silver/grey painted propeller has blue, white, and red strips on the tips of each of the four blades. It is mounted on a metal tubing 'quadrapod' stand, footed in a red brick base. Directly under the stand is the memorial plaque.
