This bridge is part of the railway-line along the right bank of the river Rhine. THe bridges the river Wied near to its confluence into the Rhine. The railway-track is one the most used in Germany. Mainly good trains are driving on this side of the river. The bridge is about 30m in length. A passenger path on it allows pedestrians to cross the Wied coming from the park of Neuwied entering the district Irlich. The bridge was build in the 1980s
