Mama and Daddy Blaster are both US Navy veterans of the Persian Gulf War, so we are always glad to see our war and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that we are still involved in now (as of 2017) recognized by name.
This memorial stands on the south side of the Pike County Courthouse one block off the downtown square in Troy Alabama.
The memorial reads as follows:
"MEMORIAL
To all the American servicemen and women of Pike County, Alabama who paid the supreme sacrifice in wars for their country and for the freedom we now enjoy each day.
The price of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
