A life size bronze statue depicts a male figure standing with his hands by his side. He is wearing a short=sleeve open collar shirt and trousers which come down to the tops of is shoes. He stands on a bronze plinth attached to a 3' diameter circular limestone base. The figure was sculpted by Prat Ventos and installed in 1992, on the 500th anniversary of the Columbus' voyage to America.
