A small sign of history at the Horsehoe Bend Battlefield marks the end of the Jackson Trace in Horseshoe Bend NMP, Daviston AL

This sign of history is located along the Battlefield Driving Tour at the battlefield overlook at Horseshoe Bend National Military Park, near Daviston AL.

The sign reads as follows:

"JACKSON TRACE
This stone marks the terminus of the route traced through the wilderness by Jackson’s army, during the Horseshoe Bend campaign. Erected and dedicated by US Daughters of 1812.

July 4, 1914"
