The Römerquelle is located in the middle of the woods next to a country lane in the Geisbachtal south of the Steintalskopf.
At the protective hut situated 150 metres to the north one finds a signpost.
The spring is some steps below the forest way and is not marked closer on site. Only some stone turrets show the way to the beaten path which leads to the spring. The spring has no verge and no firm discharge pipe.
The water outlet exists only of an elastic pipe which rises from the slope. It concerns a thin spring with very low outflow.
