A war memorial and sculpture of 1922 by (Edward) Alfred Briscoe Drury RA (1856-1944).
The memorial stands within a paved rectangle, the path leading to the Memorial is in the shape of a cross, and is prominently sited in a memorial garden within Grove Park, Weston Super Mare.
"Octagonal plinth and pedestal surmounted by winged victory sculpture standing on an orb with her arms outstretched. She holds a small olive branch in her right hand. Dedicatory plaques placed on the sides of the pedestal. A short distance directly behind the memorial is a wall in three sections with the names of those killed in WW2 placed on bronze plaques. An enamelled crest of Weston Super Mare has been placed in between the dates. Two additional sections have been placed either side of it to extend the space and add additional names.
