It's difficult to walk a city block in the Bishop Arts District without seeing something interesting. This mural is in an alley on the side of the building, and the background is primarily made up of shades of purple with some blue. Artist Steve Hunter used a promotional photo of Yvonne Craig as the focal point of the mural, which shows her in her Batgirl costume, her arms raising her golden cape, against a yellow background, which could be a spotlight. Like the TV series, which showed "Pow!" and "Zap!" in cartoon-like balloons during the Bat-fights, "Oak Cliff Raised!" is in light green in a similar red balloon. "Yvonne Craig, 1937-2015" is below and to the right, on the yellow background. There is a small step below the balloon which shows the Bat Symbol, and many stand on this to have their photos taken. Hunter's website and an Instagram page are referenced to the right.
