The 3 metre grey granite obelisk remembers those that served in war, and in peace. It is in the 'middle' of a graceful parkland, just north of the Strzelecki Highway. There is a single flagpole on the western side of the cenotaph.
A grey granite obelisk, sits on top of several granite blocks of various sizes and heights, so as to have a stepped appearance. It stand 3 metres tall. It is surrounded by a paved circular path, and curved hedging.
As I was there not too long after ANZAC Day [25 April], there was still quite a collection of floral tributes on display.
