This monument is a nine foot high slab which stands on two horizontal blocks. On the face is an outline drawing of an eagle, and on this eagle is inscribed:
"Dedicated to the young men of the Otie-Missouri Indians who served in the Civil War, World War II, World War II, Korean Campaign." At the base the dedication reads:
"Presented by Pipestem Family / 1952".
The Otoe-Missouria tribal headquarters are located just to the north on this tribal reservation.
