An older type sub-station, built in brick. Still in use. No poles or cables in the air. The electricity network in Netherlands is entirely underground.

Eind 19e, begin 20e eeuw gingen vele gemeenten zich bezig houden met de productie en distributie van electriciteit. Zo ontstonden de Gemeentelijke Energie Bedrijven.
De afkorting is G.E.B.. Op de foto bij dit Waymark staat deze afkorting op de gevel van het gebouw.
Momenteel worden trafohuisjes meestal in prefab beton uitgevoerd.
Dit gebouwtje is uitgevoerd in baksteen metselwerk.
