Der Kinder-Waldlehrpfad "Weg der Artenvielfalt" startet an der Bonner Waldau und führt durch den Stadtwald, einem Teil des Kottenforsts. Er bringt den kleinen und großen Besuchern den Wald und seine Bewohner näher. Eine Station dieses Wegs ist am Annaberger Feld, einer großen Weide am Waldrand mit einem Hof in der Mitte. Für den Waldlehrpfad wurde am Rande des Feldes ein Aussichtspunkt mit Aktivstationen eingerichtet. Pferde und andere Tiere können hier beobachtet und belauscht werden.

Direkt neben dem Aussichtspunkt befindet sich dieser sechseckige Pavillon. Waldlehrpfad-Besucher und andere Besucher des Waldes können hier eine Rast einlegen oder sich vor Regen schützen. Die Aussicht vom Pavillon aus ist leider etwas eingeschränkt, da Bäume die Sicht auf das Annaberger Feld versperren.
The children's nature trail "Weg der Artenvielfalt" starts at the Waldau of Bonn and leads through the "Stadtwald", a part of the forest Kottenforst. It aims to give the small and big visitors an understanding of the forest and it's inhabitants. A station of this trail is at the "Annaberger Feld", a large pasture on the edge of the forest with a farm in the middle. For the nature trail, a viewpoint with activity stations was set up on the edge of the field. Horses and other animals can be observed and overheard from here.

This hexagonal pavilion is located right next to the viewpoint. Visitors to the trail and other visitors to the forest can take a break here or protect themselves from the rain. The view from the pavilion is unfortunately a bit restricted, because trees are blocking the view on the Annaberger Feld.
